DESCRIPTION:California Coastal Cleanup Day at Mother’s Beach\n\n\n\nJoin Algalita and Yoga Sanctum for the biggest statewide cleanup campaign in history feat. a FREE pre-cleanup community yoga session! \n\n\n\n\nJoin Algalita and the Conservation Corps of Long Beach (Shore Corps) at Mother’s Beach in Long Beach on Saturday\, September 19th to celebrate California Coastal Cleanup Day: a powerful statewide movement that’s been protecting our coastlines for over 40 years. \nFor our 4th year in a row\, we are partnering with our friends at Yoga Sanctum. They will be offering a FREE community yoga class at in the shady grass at Mother’s Beach before the cleanup. \nYoga Session: 7:30 – 8:45 am \nCleanup: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm \nMore Event Details \n\nCome whenever and stay for as long as you would like!\nWe will have a water station for participants courtesy of LB Utilities.\nThis year\, all trash will be dumped at a singular location onsite. The city will be auditing trash picked up at all Long Beach sites for the first time!\nALL AGES WELCOME!\n\nWhat to Bring \n\nreusable water bottle\nsun protection (long sleeves\, sunscreen\, hat)\na friend or family member!\nAlgalita will provide buckets\, bags\, and gloves.
