Long Beach Moms virtual Q&A on RSV - What is it?
We all have seen respiratory syncytial virus, or R.S.V., in the news lately.
Most recently, Orange County declared a health emergency as RSV surges among infants and children leading to a record number of pediatric hospitalizations.
But what is RSV and what can parents due to help protect their children?
Join us on Wed. Nov. 16 6PM virtually for a discussion with Dr. Graham Tse M.D., FAAP, Chief Medical Officer at MemorialCare Miller Children’s Hospital & Women’s Hospital Long Beach and learn about RSV diagnosis, treatment, management, and how to tell if it is the flu, RSV, or Covid-19?
Dr. Tse is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care. He has worked at Miller Children’s & Women’s for over 25 years.  For the last 6 years he has served as the Chief Medical Officer for Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital and remains clinically active as a pediatric critical care attending physician.  Dr. Tse also serves as the Physician-in-Charge of the hospital incident command center for the COVID pandemic for both Long Beach Medical Center as well as Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital.  Dr. Tse completed his medical degree at the University of Ottawa in Canada, his pediatric residency at the University of Alberta, also in Canada, and his pediatric critical care fellowship at University of California, Los Angeles.
