Spooky Fun, Safe Halloween Tips for Our Long Beach Mamas!
Hey Mama! Halloween is just around the corner, and while we love the costumes and candy, safety is always a top priority. Here are some fun and easy tips to keep your little ghouls and goblins safe while enjoying the Halloween festivities around Long Beach!
Light Up the Night: Make sure costumes are bright or have reflective tape. Pack a flashlight or glow sticks to keep those trick-or-treaters visible!
Costume Check: Test out costumes beforehand to ensure they fit properly—no one wants to trip on their own cape while chasing candy! And don’t forget those comfy shoes.
Trick-or-Treat Buddies: Stick together in groups, and for younger ones, always have an adult tagging along. Set a route ahead of time to keep everyone on the same page.
Candy Safety: We know the excitement is real, but remind the kiddos to wait until you’ve checked their candy haul before eating anything. Look out for open packages or anything suspicious.
Watch for Traffic: Streets can get busy with excited trick-or-treaters. Remind everyone to cross at corners and use crosswalks, and be extra cautious around cars.
Party Safety: If you’re hitting a Halloween event or party, keep an eye on the little ones, and make sure they’re sticking close by. Set meeting points in case someone gets separated in the spooky fun.
Have a magical, spooky, and most of all safe Halloween!
