Maitri Montessori

Maitri Montessori is a small home style private Montessori school offering personalized learning through an anti bias lens. We cater to children aged two to six years in an inviting and nurturing environment designed to spark curiosity, foster independence and build a collaborative community.

We believe in active rather than passive learning and our schedule allows for visits to the library, local parks, gardening, cooking, music and movement and process art.

We are committed to offering a healthy and safe space taking the necessary precautions against COVID and other illness with small class sizes, regular disinfection, vaccinated staff and supervised hand washing. Our parent community is caring and supportive of our health and safety endeavors.

We follow the Long Beach School District Calendar and also offer a summer program. Enrollment is open now for July and August and the 2023/24 school year.
