We often throw away things that stop working and buy new ones instead of fixing them. This creates a big problem for our environment because our landfills are filling up too quickly, and electronic waste is a significant source of pollution.

To help address this issue, we encourage you to learn how to fix things instead of throwing them away. Whether it’s electronics, appliances, computers, toys, bicycles, clothes, or other items, please bring them to us for assessment, disassembly, and possible repair. We’ll provide a workspace, specialty tools, and guidance to help you take things apart and identify problems. Even if we cannot fix your item, you’ll learn more about how it works and was made.

This is a family-friendly event, and we welcome children of all ages to come and learn with us.
