Be one of the first to experience the newest artist exhibition Fay Ray: Puerperal at Compound in Long Beach. This vibrant art sanctuary is honored to welcome beloved Latinx Artist Fay Ray featuring “Puerperal,” and exhibition which explores motherhood, the maternal journey and life endured through a series of transformative works and installments including entirely newly commissioned works.
Start the morning with profound healing through a guided meditation and breathwork led by revered integrative wellness practitioner, Sabrina Rollo, who will close out with a sound bath for complete balance and inner transformation.
Enjoy culinary nourishment and meaningful connection with new and old friends at UNION, Compound’s on-site restaurant, for a delicious brunch in the Sculpture Garden and Courtyard.
The afternoon will culminate with a tour of Compound’s exciting artist exhibition Fay Ray: Puerperal as guests explore and reflect on the inspiring works of this accomplished artist who has shown at respected institutions, galleries and art spaces in NYC and Paris to Mexico City.

Compound operates as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) entity with inclusive public programming including contemporary art exhibitions (free and open to the public) and immersive experiences, artist talks, wellness classes, workshops, community markets, and youth programs.
A selection of programs are free and accessible thanks to the generous support of partners and funders. General admission to Compound is free and parking is available at Compound’s nearby parking structure located at 1326 Obispo Avenue.
