Long Beach Moms Refill Workshop @BYO

BYO Long Beach started at the beginning of 2017 with a goal to inspire locals to reduce their trash consumption and focus on reusable alternatives. Perfection is not the goal, but progress. We can’t all do everything, but everyone can do something.
The workshop is a 30-min tour of our refill shop where we explain how the refill process works from start to finish. Participants will learn about our product ingredients, costs, containers, and how to feel confident refilling reusables on their own. We will also do a short presentation about the plastic pollution problem and solutions. Participants can bring any container they’d like to fill with personal or homecare products. We also have containers for purchase, and some for free as well. The workshop will be 45-mins with the presentation. The workshop is free, though families are welcome to donate to our organization if they feel inspired.
Our everyday choices can create a massive change overtime, especially when done as a collective. Together we can be the force to preserve our Mother Earth and all living beings.
This is a paid RSVP to save your spot due to limited capacity. Families are welcome.
$20 to save your spot. You will be refunded when you arrive. If you are unable to make it, the cash goes towards our community events.
