Sister Cities of Long Beach will host an event with Mayor Rex Richardson celebrating our city’s connections with its Sister Cities through culture, music, food, and community spirit.

Live performances by:

• Rogelle Zamora, performing modern pop by Filipino artists on violin
• Sotheary Band, singing Cambodian and U.S. favorites – dancing encouraged!
• Mera Dance Group, showcasing traditional Cambodian dances
• Long Beach Khmer Kickboxing Center, with a live martial arts demonstration

Craft and create:

• Make a paper snake craft in honor of the Lunar New year – Year of the Snake
• Design your own button and take it home – it’s free!
• Enjoy live origami demonstrations! Kids can make simple origami animals and take home a special origami gift.
