RuMBa Foundation Family Concert: Dan Brown’s Wild Symphony!

September 28, 2025 @ 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

This free festival-style event will be filled with activities, live music, interactive booths, and kid-friendly food. Children will enjoy playing with symphonic musical instruments at the “instrument petting zoo,” crafting their own batons for “Conducting 101” with our assistant conductors. Enjoy arts and crafts, lawn games, and more! Children are encouraged to come in their favorite costume.

At 3PM, the Terrace Theater will open for children and their families to take part in an interactive, educational, and playful musical performance by Maestro Eckart Preu. A Wild Symphony performance is an unforgettable family experience for all ages, celebrating a magical blend of storytelling, music, and visual art. Written and composed by bestselling author Dan Brown (DaVinci Code, Angels and Demons), this delightful 21-movement musical adventure comes alive with stunning projected images and charming poem readings from the beloved book. The narrator for this performance will be actor and vocal coach Jamieson Price, who has worked with LBSO’s education outreach program for more than 20 years and also serves as the announcer at Cal State Long Beach commencement ceremonies.
