If you can sing it, you can speak it!

Ah, France. With over 87 million visitors a year, France remains one of the top tourist destinations of the world and embodies its language in cooking, art, and architecture. To learn French is to understand theater and international relations; French is not just for lovers but for world society. While France remains the place of my childhood, Long Beach has become my home, and my commitment to my hometown inspires me to play an active role in the community. What better way that to share and teach French.

The benefits of learning the French language is more than just picking up a new skill. Being able to speak French provides a great base for learning additional languages like Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Romanian. Speaking a second language increases cognitive growth in analytics and multitasking and requires discipline and dedication in order to learn it. Through language development, we are exposed to new cultures, ideas, and values that help us grow outside our comfort zone.

These experiences are what I bring to my teaching sessions. For children to learn a second language, a high-level of engagement and enjoyment is needed, which is why I have perfected the art of interactive language development through fun experiences like games and music. Gone are the days of vocabulary repetition exercises.

What I find most enjoyable about teaching is experiencing the growth of my students. Seeing a student speak and understand French provides a sense of fulfillment. I believe that students can only be as dedicated as their teacher, and so I have fully dedicated my time and abilities to teaching children the French language. I love playing an active role in our community, and I hope that my teaching provides help and support to families in the area.

Only through language can we understand each other. Let’s take this opportunity to reconnect after these years of separation.
