Beach Clean-Ups

 

Come Join Your Local Veterans for a cleanup at Belmont Pier, Long Beach!

We will supply bags, gloves, buckets, and hand sanitizer.Please feel free to bring your own bucket, bag, or trash grabber! Everyone is welcome to our cleanups, feel free to bring your friends and family!

 

Surfrider Foundation supports volunteers to organize Beach cleanups completely autonomously, with a range of tools and an educational approach.

Joining one of Surfrider’s beach cleanups, participants become aware of the impact of waste-related pollution, while actively reducing marine litter.

 

 

Earth Day Events

 

The Bolsa Chica Earth Day Festival offers FREE family fun for everyone! Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with live animals, learn about pollution and wetland ecology, test the water quality, and much more! Alongside a multitude of educational activity booths, the festival will also include a jump tent and guided tours of the reserve! Location: 3842 Warner Ave., Huntington Beach, CA 92649Cost to attend: Free! Join us for some fun in the sun in celebration of Earth Day, Saturday, April 23rd 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm on the grand staircase stage.

Activities include: Entertainment and meet and greets with  Tinkerbell, Crafts provided by Able ARTS Work, Complimentary Face painting

 

Free Community event from 12-5pm in the East Village Arts District in Downtown Long Beach, 1st Street block between Linden and Elm Ave.

We encourage everyone to come to the event on foot, by bike or by skates! We’ll have an area dedicated to park your wheels and enjoy outdoor activities, music & dancing. Skates available to rent.

 

Join us in celebrating Earth Day with an event fun for the whole family on Saturday, April 23, from 11 am to 1 pm! Kids can enjoy crafts, face painting, balloon twisting, and more. Discover the magic of growing by participating in a fun planting activity. There will also be eco-friendly giveaways. You’re sure to have a tree-mendous time!
