Long Beach Holiday Activities
The holidays have returned to Long Beach! After such a harrowing year, Long Beach is pulling out all the stops to bring the holidays back into full swing this season. From meet and greets with Santa, exciting holiday shopping in a winter village, crafts, lights, and so much more, there is something for everyone this holiday season.
Traditional holiday activities have returned with lots of color and style this year. The Long Beach Nutcracker will be holding five performances between December 17th to the 19th with tickets starting at $25. This classic ballet is being performed by the Long Beach Ballet at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center with both evening and matinee times available for purchase.
How about a holiday shopping day? In Long Beach, we have a few options available to us this year. On December 4th from 4pm-8pm, Belmont Shore will be hosting a Winter Village Day. Shops all along Second Street will be turning on the holiday charm, with food, games, and entertainment throughout the corridor. The following weekend, nn December 11th from 11am-5pm , TCC will be hosting a Winter Wonderland Market on Bellflower Blvd from 11am-5pm with over 80 vendors, food, and crafts are available for purchase.
If shopping isn’t your preference, what about spending some time with Santa? On December 4th from 8am-11sm, Parkers LightHouse will be holding Breakfast with Santa with donations benefiting the Millers Children’s & Women’s Hospital in Long Beach.
If your favorite part of the holidays are lights, look no further than the Naples Christmas Holiday Parade happening on December 18th at 6pm. Walk around the Naples canals with a nice cup of hot chocolate and see holiday lights both on and off the water. Perfect for all ages!
Come celebrate the holidays in Long Beach; you’ll have lots of fun experiences, create new traditions, support our wonderful local businesses, and spread some holiday cheer! While celebrating, don’t forget to reach out to our local charities who are doing the hard work of taking care of our neighbors who need a little extra help this season.
