The mission of Casa Youth Shelter is to serve and nurture youth in crisis with shelter, counseling, and support services, empowering them to come through their crisis with increased confidence, stability, and tools for continued growth.

From our location in Los Alamitos, Casa Youth Shelter has served as a critical link in the safety net for youth who are homeless, abused, or are experiencing a time of intense difficulty or danger for over 47 years by offering a 24/7 full-service shelter for youth aged 12-17.

We provide families with counseling services as well as parenting classes, to help families build stronger foundations of stability. We aim to serve youth in crisis by meeting essential needs—safety, nourishment, and stability—while empowering them to heal, grow, and build brighter futures.
